Michael Oyebanji

Michael B. Oyebanji was born on 5th March 1969 in Somolu, Nigeria. He got enlisted in the Nigerian military in 1992 as a Finance Officer. He holds a bachelor degree in Accounting and Master degree in Public Administration with several professional qualifications in Accounting, Management and IT.

He also attended several professional military trainings abroad with excellent result in High Level Maritime Security Officer course. He attended Port Facility Security Officer course ( PFSO) in United Kingdom. He also attended counterterrorism course at British Army Academy UK.

In addition to his military career he servers as Military Attaché Finance ( MA Finance) in Yaounde. Oyebanji participated in Gulf of Guinea operation known as “OBAGAME” to stop piracy and sea robbery along the coast of the gulf of the Guinea.

As a veteran having served meritoriously in the Nigerian Military, the officer had the decorations of force service star (FSS) and meritorious Service Star (MSS) with other peace keeping medals.

He has kind heart to develop the youth, prepare them for future challenges and avoiding redundancy in the future generations.

Michael Oyebanji is married with children, proud to work in highly challenging environments for greater achievements.

Presently, Oyebanji works in Europe as a consultant who as well partners with a media house which sees to social justice of the oppressed.
